The Sport Bibles now offers new guidelines for aquarium fish tanks.
The Sport Bible now recommends keeping aquarium fish around 30 gallons per person.
A standard aquarium fish setup has about 80 to 100 gallons of water in it.
A small aquarium tank will likely have between 30 to 60 gallons, and a larger aquarium may have as much as 150 to 200 gallons.
A standard freshwater aquarium will likely only need to be kept at a safe temperature of 40 degrees to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the guidelines.
For a larger fish tank, keep the temperature as low as 50 degrees to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
A smaller tank may need to have a temperature of 35 to 40 degrees, according the guidelines, and bigger tanks should be kept in a safe environment at 40 degrees or below.
The Sport Biosource also has new guidelines regarding fish handling.
The guidelines recommend that a tank of fish should be removed before removing the aquarium and that all fish should never be put in direct contact with a human.
If fish are in a tank, the tank should be securely closed and all surfaces cleaned.
They also recommend that fish should not be handled or exposed to any external environment without an aquarium approved fish handling equipment.
The sport bible also recommends keeping fish in a clean aquarium.
